I've joined the Friends Reunited site. It lists all the schools in the UK and you can register yourself as having been to one or more of those schools and catch up with old friends.
Although if they were really friends, you wouldn't have lost touch with them in the first place...

Oxford University and United Devices have created a project to try and speed up the discovery of a cure for cancer. By getting the public to download a small program, it allows anyone with a PC to use their PCs to analyze data that may help in the fight against cancer. It runs in the background using any unused processing power so you don't notice any change in your PC - you can still use it while the program gets on analyzing data.

This is the homepage for the new movie by Guy Ritchie (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrells), Snatch. Starring Brad Pitt, Vinnie Jones, Dennis Farina, Benicio del Toro and Mike Reid (!) this looks like it'll be as cool as Lock-Stock but an altogether meatier dish.
2 excellent trailers too - the Teaser and the hilarious Trailer with Brad Pitt speaking god-knows-what.
